Why can't I buy a domain name that has expired?

Solution

Although a domain name may have expired, it is not immediately available for registration by the general public.

Depending on the registrar, they may keep hold of the domain name for several months.

You can Back Order the domain which means if and when it is purged from the registry, we will attempt to register it for you.

Simply search the domain name and process the Back Order.
